Setting up my site. It's probably not an excessively complicated endeavor if you're someone other than me. If not, this sort of thing can give me a bad case of the WTF's. And a bad case of it I had. So while reaching for the proverbial towel so that I could "throw it in" and go spend the rest of myafternoon in some muddy water swamp where a mind can distance itself from site building for a while, I began to research folks like Ari here and get the calvary en route. I suppose I gave a hard look at a dozen or so and when the time for deciding was upon me, the whole thing fell on him. I pretty much spelled it out plain and simple as far as my skill level and what I wanted from the site and budgets, timeframes, blah blah blah right? When I finished the email I read it over and just before hitting the send key I remember thinking that I should go ahead and rewrite one to someone else and leave out about 2/3 of the details that this one has because there's no way in hell that he's going to take this one. But sure enough. He took the job. Which reminds me that I should get a sympathy card out to him tomorrow. And I'm being overly dramatic here obviously, but I know it wasn't an easy job and ok true it's not finished yet but that's only because I when I see that he's not online in my site doing his thing I can't seem to help myself from going in loaded slam fto overflow with good intentions and screwing something up, or deleting it entirely (Ari, I hate to break it to you on a platform like this but it seems to me to be just as good as any place else to go ahead and tell you that next time you log on to do some work, that menu that you've been working on today and all that navigation is probably not going to be an easy thing to find. It's the damdest thing you know? I was tinkering with it earlier, and after a few minutes, the SOB just vanished into thin air. Just like that. A click here, a click there and POOF! I don't know WTF could've happened to it but I'm hoping you'll either find that one or get me a one that doesnt disappear on me every time I hit the wrong button. That was a bit uncalled for if you ask me.) Whew! Glad that's behind me.
So here's the meat and potatos of this review. First, If you want someone who knows the business, well he has that covered. And of course he doesn't know everything about everything, who does? But he's got folks that he works with who know things and when one of them hits a snag, he resolves it with a phone call or two. TEAMWORK. They help each other as needed and that in itself says alot about him. He's willing to share his knowledge, his skill and wisdom with folks who, when you boil it all down, are actually his competitors. But he ?they don't see it that way. And to me that's pretty damn cool. And he'll share with me too but I don't want to hear that crap. I can't understand it and at this stage of things I'm pretty confident that I don't even want to. That's what he's for right? So it works out.
He's fair. I'll skip the details but I'll tell you that he did more than we agreed on without asking for more than we agreed. So that's not fair is it? It's beyond fair. But it's what he does. I could say alot more about him but google wants to be cheesy with my space allotment here and you probably don't want to read much more so I'll skip it too other than to say that if google wasn't such a tightwad on the amount of stars I could give here, I'd give more. If you need the sort of assistance that this man provides, you should stop researching now and get up with Ari. He's top shelf and I'm so glad that I found him. You will be too. Thanks for letting me share.
