Beacon Bookings is built for businesses that rent things out or sell time: kayak, bike, boat and trailer rentals, cabins, tours and lessons. It adds a booking form to your site where customers pick a date and time, choose how long and how many, see the price and pay through your site's checkout. Each time slot has its own capacity, so you can offer six kayaks at once or a tour for twelve. Add buffer time for cleaning or travel, set weekly hours, and close or open specific dates. Bookings run by the hour, day or night, and an hourly rental can run past closing for several days. Duration prices, such as 4 hours for $120 or a week for $300, apply whenever they work out lower. While a customer pays, their slot is held for a short time, which helps keep two people from booking the last spot. Bookings appear in your dashboard as a list and a calendar, and you can subscribe to them from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The free plan includes one bookable product. The paid plan adds unlimited products, resources such as rooms, staff or boats, and refundable security deposits. Prefer not to set it up yourself?
