Cost of goods and payment fees applied automatically
ProfitLens shows what each order leaves you. It reads your orders, pulls the cost of goods from your product catalog, estimates the payment processing fee, applies the shipping cost you configure, and shows the net profit next to every order.
The order table shows one row per order. The product table aggregates the same orders by product, so you can see which items lose money on every sale. Shipping cost is not divided between products, so product figures are stated before shipping cost.
ProfitLens never fills a gap with a guess. When the cost of goods, the payment fee or the shipping cost is not available, the net profit is left blank and the reason is shown instead. Totals state how many orders they cover.
Payment fees are estimates. Published card processing rates are used where they exist for your store currency; otherwise you enter your own rate and fixed amount. Shipping cost is what you pay to ship an order, which no API reports, so you enter it as a flat amount per order. Weight-based shipping cost is not available in this version.
The order table exports to CSV, including the column that says why a figure was blank. The product table is not exported in this version.
